In the mad dash to Christmas, I am back doing a few mad dashes of my own around the travel retail world.
These will culminate in a world first at Dubai Duty Free this Friday, when I report in real time on the retailer’s 30th anniversary. Yes, Moodie Live, which we unveiled in October at the Cannes show, will be rolled out again this Friday in association with William Grant & Sons, allowing me to record videos and podcasts, take photos and write about the big day as it evolves, all streamed live to www.TheMoodieReport.com
Given my crazy travel schedule in 2013 and my relentless march towards the outer limits of middle age, you might forgive me for sometimes not knowing which country I am in. As I’ve said in a previous Blog, the puzzle series ‘Where’s Wally?’ (above) could easily be remade into a travel retail exclusive called ‘Where’s Martin?’ (I’m the one on the left by the way).
So… I wonder how many readers would be able to answer that question by revealing the location of the fantastic photos from a fantastic place below I visited this week. Country, area and(even better) specific location would all help me get my bearings and arrive at Dubai in time. Here’s a clue: the food not only looks but tastes wonderful, as befitting one of the world’s most famous cuisines.
I’m offering a bottle of New Zealand’s finest – Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc – to the first name out of the draw featuring correct answers.
Send your answers by e-mail to Martin@TheMoodieReport.com headed ‘Where’s Martin’? by this Sunday.
